What this website stores, what it does not, and what may be requested by third-party services.
1. What is used now
- Theme preference: the browser's local storage remembers light/dark mode.
- Offline cache: a service worker caches selected site assets and pages so the static record can remain useful when connectivity is poor.
- Fonts: EB Garamond and IBM Plex Mono are currently requested from Google Fonts. This is a third-party network request, not a cookie set by this website.
2. What is not currently used
There is currently no first-party advertising, behavioral advertising, analytics dashboard, account system, comment system or non-essential cookie mechanism intentionally installed by this website. The invitation composer opens the visitor's own email client rather than submitting the invitation to a server controlled by this website.
3. Third-party requests
A browser may contact third-party infrastructure when loading resources explicitly included by the site, such as Google Fonts. Third parties may process technical request information according to their own policies. This website does not describe such processing as being controlled by Dr. Festus.
4. If the technology changes
If analytics, embedded media, advertising, authentication, non-essential cookies or another technology that changes the privacy profile is introduced, this notice should be updated before or alongside that change. Where legally required, an appropriate consent mechanism should be added rather than relying on this notice alone.
