The rules for using this personal academic website and its academic record.
1. About the website
This is Dr. Osuolale Adeyinka Festus's personal academic website. References to FUTA describe his professional affiliation. The website should not be represented as the official website of FUTA, the Department of Computer Science or any other institution unless that institution separately confirms such authorization.
2. Academic record and verification
The site is intended as a public academic record, not as an infallible database. Some entries may be marked as awaiting verification. Visitors should check primary sources, publishers, DOI records or the relevant institution where a decision depends on a specific fact.
3. Acceptable use
- use the site for lawful academic, professional, educational and informational purposes;
- do not impersonate Dr. Festus or falsely imply institutional endorsement;
- do not scrape, republish or combine personal information in a way that creates a new harmful or misleading profile; and
- do not use the website to violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights or applicable law.
4. External links
The website links to publishers, DOI records, ORCID, LinkedIn and other external resources. Those destinations are operated independently and may have different terms, privacy practices and availability. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement of everything on the destination site.
5. No guarantee of uninterrupted availability
The site is static and designed for resilience, but no internet service can be guaranteed to remain continuously available, current, complete or error-free. Hosting, domain, network, browser and third-party service failures can occur.
6. Changes and removal
Pages, publications, student records, links and other material may be corrected, updated, moved or removed. A correction or removal does not necessarily mean that the previous version was knowingly false; it may reflect new evidence, a permission change or a decision to reduce unnecessary exposure.
